IPL pigmentation removal effectively fades and removes age spots, sun spots and discolouration to greatly improve overall skin tone, texture and radiance. Whether born with them or acquired over the course of a lifetime, virtually everyone has one or more sun spots, freckles or skin discolouration they’d love to get rid of! A series of 4 – 6 treatments spaced 4-8 weeks apart are required for optimal results. Areas such as backs of hands, forearms, décolletage and face will respond well to this treatment. Autoimmune disorders. Immunosuppression. Tanned (natural or fake) or sunburned skin. History of Seizures or Epilepsy. Surgical or Metal Pins. Pacemaker (Dual Mode IPL) Photosensitizing Medication or St Johns Wort Skin Irritation / Open Lesions / Allergic Reaction. Hypoesthesia (numbness). Photosensitizing Medication or St Johns Wort. Blue Veins (IPL Vascular Only). Birthmarks. Melasma. Pigmented lesions below the heart. Cystic Acne. Vascular lesions below the heart. PIHP. Active Herpes in treatment area.
